2Main job purpose: This is not a typical equity research role. PHFM is a Buy-side firm focused on PnL generation, not report writing. We are looking for disciplined, process-driven individuals who understand that successful investing requires a flawless operational backbone and rigorous data management. You will start by mastering the "unglamorous" but critical foundation of our investment process: database maintenance, administrative coordination, and meeting logistics. Success in this role is defined by accuracy, reliability, and the ability to automate routine tasks.
Job Description:
- Administrative & Operational Excellence:
- The Backbone of the Team: Coordinate all logistics, including scheduling complex meetings and booking conference rooms. You ensure the investment team operates without friction.
- Data Infrastructure & Quantitative Support:
- Data Grunt Work: Collect, clean, and integrate raw data from FiinPro and LSEG. You are not just looking at charts; you are building the database that supports them.
- Automation: Automate data collection and administrative reporting tasks. We value efficiency over effort.
- Presentation Support: Update and refine PowerPoint presentations. Your job is to ensure the data is accurate and the formatting is perfect.
- Other task as assigned by Manager
Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Economics.
– Experience: 4th year student or Fresh graduated are welcome.
– Technical skills:
- Python or similar software: Ability to write scripts for data cleaning/scraping is highly valued.
- Excel/PowerPoint: Advanced proficiency
– Soft skills:
- High tolerance for routine: You don’t get bored easily; you get
- Emotional Maturity: Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced Buy-side
- Good command of English or Mandarin
